    Sleep/breastfeeding advice please

I hope someone can help me, Im so exhausted!
Since DD last teethed (3 teeth in 3 days!) she is waking every 30-60minutes all night!
    Im so exhausted.
She is nearly 10 months old, and this has been happening for 3 months.
I also have supply issues, so im not sure if thats the problem or if this is a habit.
    Yesterday went
    700 feed back to sleep
    900 feed and up
930 porridge (1/4 cup when cooked)
    Playgroup
1100 fruit (handful of grapes, handful of cherry tomatoes, handful of water melon)
    1200 feed and sleep
    1430 up and feed
    1500 milk arrowroot
    1600 feed
    1700 feed and sleep
1830 dinner (100g steak, handful of cherry tomatoes, handful of watermelon, Plum, baby yoghurt, cheese stick)
    1900 bath/ massage
    1930 feed
    2100 feed
    2200 feed to sleep
    100 feed
    300 feed
    330 feed
    400 feed
    430 feed
    500 feed
    530 feed
    600 feed
    630 feed
    730 feed and up

    so thats
19 breast feeds (usually both sides during the day)
    4 solid meals
    13/15 hours of sleep

I bought some formula today and DH is doing tonights feeds.
Im pretty sure that its just habit/comfort (we cosleep so Im 'on tap' but tonight im in the spare room)
she wont take a dummy from me anymore.
    Does anyone have any advice/suggestions?
Im getting desperate and considering moving DD into her own room and if that doesnt help I dont know WHAT Ill do.

Oh that sounds EXHAUSTING. Hopefully others will be by soon with some helpful suggestions. We never got quite that bad but from 8 to 12 months we went through feeding up to 6 times a night and it almost broke me. I ended up very gently night-weaning at 12 months but think your DD might be a bit young for that yet.

Hugs Hun, and hope you get some great sleep tonight.

Oh you poor thing, 19 BF's, you must be exhausted!! I saw you said you had a supply issue........maybe your DD is hungry and that's why she is constantly snacking overnight. The GP told me to try and give her some milk from a bottle after a BF and if she takes more than 30mls then it's a supply issue and try and increase supply by fenugreek, expressing/feeding more often etc etc etc.

Your LO seems to be eating solids really well which is great

I think it's a growth spurt which has coincided with the whole teeth thing. My DD just cut her first teeth and she drank SO MUCH more milk overnight. Like seriously, double her normal daily milk intake. I think this might have been because her mouth was sore so she enjoyed the soothe of the suck. We gave her nurofen and it really seemed to help but only for a few hours at a time.

Hope this sorts out for you soon. Xx

My DS was exactly like this at this age, also teething. It was the only thing that eased his discomfort. It really was awful It went on like this from 8 to 11 months, when his 6th tooth burst through and suddenly he went back to only 1 or 2 feeds per night.
Have you tried pain relief? Nurofen is generally more effeciv ethan pandol. Or what about an amber teething necklace? That seemed to help for us (didn't discover them till DS was older unfortunately.)

I would think with all those feeds, especially overnight, that you'd have an enormous supply

I think my DD has been reading some of the same 'how to drive Mum crazy' manual as your little one. i have not got everything sorted but have made small developments.

Do you wear a top when you sleep? Having the breast not as accessible can help cut down feeds.

Are you able to pat or use other settling techniques? We co-sleep too, and now i will try to rub DDs back and whisper sleepy noises before i offer the boob. At the begining, it had no chance of working but slowly it is working and sometimes she will go back to sleep without a feed.

Hope you get a really good sleep tonight. Have you read the 'No cry sleep solution'? It suggests getting sleep however you can before trying to make changes, so you have a bit of energy behind you cos the making changes can be more difficult in the short term.

Last night I had two tops on, and she still made her way in. We read the NCSS and Im grabbing it again from the Library tomorrow. The only way I get sleep now is just to feed every 30 mins, which of course means i get no sleep.
Im hoping a night of good sleep will make tomorrow night easier.

I have Sheehans syndrome and dont lactate naturally, so if im tired (!) or stressed my supply drops.
I think shes finished teething, she has 8 already, so I was hoping for a break!
I dont mind feeding her overnight, but this is beyond ridiculous! I fed her more yesterday, hoping that shes sleep better, but no luck.
DH will give her a bottle until dawn and ill feed her after that, but I just need a sleep!
