Sleep Time / Awake Time guide

Can anyone point me to a good reference on what sort of sleep and awake times to expect for babies as they get older? I know every baby is different and it will vary, but just a general guide would be really helpful.

I'll be back in a sec but have you checked out Elizabeth Pantleys website? She has a pretty good reference in her book, I'll post it in a sec but she might have it on her site?

Ok, the table she has in her book says:

Age - Number of naps - Total length of naptime hours - Night sleep hours - Total night and naptime sleep
    1 month - 3 - 6-7 - 8.5-10 - 15-16
    3 months - 3 - 5-6 - 10-11 - 15
    6 months - 2 - 3-4 - 10-11 - 14-15
    9 months - 2 - 2.5-4 - 11-12 - 14
    12 months - 1-2 - 2-3 - 11.5-12 - 13-14
    2 years - 1 - 1-2 - 11-12 - 13
    3 years - 1 - 1-1.5 - 11 - 12
    4 years - 0 - 0 - 11.5 - 11.5
    5 years - 0 - 0 - 11 - 11

These are all AVERAGES, and please don't get yourself stuck on what your baby 'should' be doing as all are different. If its not broken don't fix it At 2 months its pretty normal for it to be all over the shop.

    Thanks Leash
Thats awesome. Was more out of curiousity than anything, I'm happy letting DS do his own thing each day. I'm fortunate that hes a great sleeper and a very happy and settled bubba. (Not taking that for granted though JIC is all goes down the plughole at some stage later on )
