DS started sleeping through a few weeks ago, so just under 13 months. After about 6-8 weeks of age, he was down to two feeds a night, and then sometime around 3-4 months, he went to one feed a night. Despite a few bad periods, he continued in this until we finally dropped that feed a few weeks ago and now he sleeps through, most of the time (but by no means all).

One feed a night was do-able for a long time.

GL, it will all come together eventually! Don't feel bad about doing whatever it takes to make sure you all get as much sleep as you can!

far far too soon. couple of months. Didnt help with the whole breastfeeding thing... My kids are lazy, lol.

The co sleeping isnt so bad really. I get far more sleep because I co-sleep and BF. I used to toss and turn so bad, but with a baby in the bed, instinct kicks in and I become a statue. So far Phe woke me up the first few nights but now she just reattaches to the bb herself without waking me up. DH has aponeas and reckons its really fascinating to watch. "Primal mummy and baby instinct" lol.

ETA: I tell a fib, lol. She woke me up at 4am with a poopy nappy this morning. No big really. A little more tired tonight than usual but coped well during the day!

there is hope they will sleep most of the night eventually. I know it seems so long now but once she does you will forget all those wakefull nights

DS started to sleep through at about 20 months and in a few weeks went from our room to his own room! I always fed him to sleep rocked him etc and now he does it all by himself.

Good luck hun It wont be forever

.kinda at that place ATM my dear...thinking exactly the same thing with H - and he is only 7 weeks old.

    DD#1 - 3 months
    DD#2- 5 weeks
DD#3 - 16 months - but on occasions will still wake me up for a drink or a cuddle....
