Sounds like a lot! I know you said she is interested in toilet training but personally (without knowing your daughter) I think it's too much. She might cope with all the change beautifully but the introduction of day care, bed and new bub might make it impossible.

As for bed, I'd get onto that one ASAP. We left ours too late (18 months difference between the boys) and ended up having to buy a new cot as our toddler wasn't interested when the baby got to sleep in the cot. I'd get her involved in buying the bed and linen. Is there a character she likes? My son was very keen to sleep in his bed when he had a Thomas the Tank Engine doona cover.

You'll just need to take your cues from her and see how she goes? If she's currently sleeping through the night and a bed disrupts that, personally, I'd keep the cot and beg, borrow or buy another. It's more important for you that she's sleeping through than being in a bed.

I probably sound a bit negative, but it's not all bad. My son doesn't like change much (men!) so we had a difficult time.

Good luck with it all.
