My little one seems to have a sore throat today.
She is hungry and seems interested in food, but every time I offer her something she has one bite and starts to cry
Any suggestions on what to feed her?
Yogurt, pureed fruit or vegies, warm porridge, fruit gelor jelly maybe, warm soup. Basically anything that you think will just slip down there nicely, poor little mite, I hope she feels better soon.
Yeah, I was thinking those jellies. I know they've got lots of sugar in them, but at least it's something semi-solid and if it's just while she's sick I'm sure it's ok. Poor little thing. Hope she feels better soon... hey, maybe yoghurt too? Oops, someone already said that! Good luck.
Matilda's had 4 cases of tonsilitis and we make jelly, yogurt, and ice blocks with fruit & yogurt in them for her to have. She will sometimes eat things like pumpkin soup and very cooked risotto, mashed potatoes and I usually mix in those some cheese & broccoli to hide so she gets some nutrients in as well.
