    Strange reasons for tanties

I am sure there are some great stories out there.

One day last week DS2 threw a huge tanty when we left day care. He was holding my keys and a carer asked him was he driving home. He said "yes, I drive home". So we got out to the car, I opened his door and he said "no, I sit in your seat in the front and drive home". When I explained that he was too little to drive and he had to sit in his seat so he could be safely strapped in the tanty started. And lasted until we were nearly home! Oh dear - I can't imagine what it will be next!

This morning DD had a tanty because I wouldn't share my pregnancy vitamin capsules with her. I tried to explain that it wasn't yummy, it was medicine, but she didn't believe me.

Jack (who is only one) will have a huge tanty if I go into the planner screen on the MyStar (similiar to Foxtel IQ) and put anything other than In The Night Garden on. It's ridiculous, as soon as he sees that blue screen he stops whatever he is doing and goes and sits in front of the TV and waits, LOL.

DS had a tanty this morning because I stirred his porridge - normally I pour the milk on & stir it before I give it to him, this morning I'd put it out & went to the loo & DH gave him the porridge & didn't stir it. I stired it before he started eating to ensure no ho9t spots and then the tanty started. It went on for nearly 10 mins, I thought it was over when I gave him a pear (& he ate that happily) and started again when I asked if he was going to eat the porridge. He raged for another 5 mins before eating the porridge.

If we even just start to surf through the channel listing, so not actually changing the channel we get screams of "No, I want mine on!"

Worst one - DD1 was in her bedroom playing. I realised that the TV was still on one of her channels and decided to watch something I wanted. An almighty scream came from the her room. I thought she had hurt herself or something and I panicked. Well it was not that at all, she was howling due to me changing the channel So the TV went off, she was sent back to her room screaming and the screaming continued for about an hour. Not a pleasant day.
