    Stroller talk!!!

Ok girls.. my hunt for a stoller has started.

We have a pram.. a great pram, but it annoys me that it takes up the whole boot and its annoying to get in and out of the car etc etc. So im in the market for a stoller. I dont know the first thing about them, as ive never had one. So gimme you best stollers and why u chose them.. or just ones that u like/want and why..

One thing u need to keep in mind.. im almost 6 ft tall so i cant be bending over.

We have a 3 wheel stroller from Bog W - its made by ZuZU and its awesome! My DH is 6'7 and the handle goes up high and he has no worries using it. It folds in half and is quite light. I love it! I comes with a rain cover that completely covers the whole thing, has a sun hood and alos a fly screen that zips around it to. It can be sitting and also can lie down so if the fall asleep yopu can lay them down.

I've got a Bebecare one. Has nice high handles - my DH is 6'2" and he likes it. Folds well has a carry handle when folded, comes with all the accessories.
We looked at that, the Steelcraft and the McClaren. They all looked like they were made in the same factory just with different fabric. Ours was the cheapest and easiest to fold and we have a sheepskin init so the fabric didn't matter.
Has 5 position layback instead of the usual 3 too.

However, Kate's sounds cool too...wish I'd seen that.

Oh I forgot the main reason we got that stroller was that it comes with a toddler seat that clips in on top of the stroller part - so when Bella is bigger she can sit in it and also we can put bub in the bottom part... when we have another one!! hehe

Ive had a Maclaren Quest and Steelcraft Pheonix, still have both, the Maclaren is far far better, the turning circle on the Steelcraft its bad, I cannot turn it with one hand when I have my toddler in there it requires two hands. The Maclaren is great can turn with one hand, also clips shut when folded and the Steelcraft doesnt you have to latch it shut so you need two hands to do it, Maclaren only need one hand. Maclaren takes much less space in the boot too. Also the lining on the Maclaren is much much better quality. Hope this helps.

Here is one NOT to get- the Mothers Choice Sienna layback stroller from Kmart.

The seat bit is either too small or tilted at a strange angle so that my poor little man ends up kind of slumped down and half falling out. Its awful!

(side note: anyone know where I can get a foam wedge to put under his bum to change the angle of the seat?)

Clark rubber in Preston - take the stroller in and they will cut the size you need on the spot.

I'm another vote for the Maclaren. We only have the basic model as we don't use all that often, but I know it's a lot easier to push than others we tried with DD in the shops. As mentioned above, easy to fold with one hand and takes up not much room. Fabric has also been easy to clean. I like the handle style and height and the folding hood.
