Unhappy My seriously overtired girl is crying in her cot...

while I take 10 mins out. She is so close to sleep and she just keeps fighting it!

My hubby works away and I'm at the end of day 5 on my own and I'm just a bit tired tonight and a little bit over the walking, the rocking, the shooshing, the sling, the patting, the feeding and the curling up in bed with her in the vain hope that she will realise that sleep is good and she's not missing out on anything!!

She's getting worked up and then winds right down to that whingey protest cry with her eyelids slowly blinking and then she fights it with everything she's got and winds back up into a howl!

I'm heading back in, wich me luck and thanks for listening!

Oh it's hard some days isn't it you are doing GREAT hun. Tomorrow will be a better day

Just think as soon as she does fall asleep, you can then relax or get some sleep yourself. Bliss!

A little bit of crying never hurt a baby.... especially if it's just her way of un-winding..... my little girl was very overtired tonight too
