    Taking Bub to the movies?

ok so obviously its not for her benifit lol, she's only a month old,
as any twilight fan is aware of, New moon comes our next week, i really really want to go, so does DH, we've seen babies in the movies before, ive even seen whole mums groups go to movies, so would it be a problem if we did?
we pre oder our tix online so we always get to choose our seats, so we plan on sitting in somewhere we can have the pram not in the way, i know i could feed her no dramas,
    any advice would be awesome

some movie theatres do have mums & bubs sessions, I dont know if they would be showing twilight at any of them though! I think the main thing to be not worried about, but I guess aware of, is how other movie-goers are going to react if she starts crying..as long as she is quiet I doubt anyone would know she was there, but I know that (even though I do now have a baby) I might be a little annoyed if I was trying to watch a movie, especially as Twilight is quite popular, and there was a baby crying...

I know babies cry and most people understand that, but I guess its just something to be aware of. I say go for it though, will be a good time out for you and your partner

Most cinemas have mums and bubs sessions and they are great as no one gets upset if a baby makes a noise.

If you go to a standard session maybe make it a mid week early in day session as they are generally quieter, as I am sure most people would be rather ok with a baby making a noise etc but you will get the odd one that will be rude about it.

I would think its very likely they'll have a babes-in-arms session of New Moon. They usually have the popular ones and the girly ones, LOL!
We have only taken Phoebe once, when she was about your bub's age. We saw Harry Potter and even with all the loudness of the movie, she was quiet as a mouse!
Do you have a carrier? If so, can I suggest taking bubs in that instead of the stroller? I found if Phoebe started to stir I'd feel it and just bob up and down a bit. Worked a treat! I didn't even need to feed her, but I wish I had've though because after being so close to her for so many hours my boobs were going CRAZY.
And I would definitely go for an earlier session. Less people for you to worry about offending

I took DS to the Mum's and Bub's all the time when he was young and I loved being able to get out of the house. The only thing to think about is the noise level in a normal session. Mum's and Bub's is turned down so be prepared that you may find the normal session is just too loud.

Mum and dad brought my sister along to Harry Potter when she was a few weeks old! She just sat wrapped up on dad's knees and slept all through it - I think mum may have fed her at some point.

    It was fine!

I took DD to the movies when she was about 13 weeks to see Juno (I was watching the movie, not her!) and didn't have a prob, they just said if she gets noisy then I'd have to walk out until she settled, but wasn't ans issue, she just slept through most of it. I did make it a day time so there wasn't many people at all in there.

Also some bigger towns (I saw the movie in SYD) have like a mothers group thing where everyone can bring their children/ babies, so check that out if you're really worried.

there are def mums and bubs sessions and they woujld def show this movie as i think it will be popular...
i go to these often with DS2 and it is great.
I have also gone to some 'normal' sessions with him - if you go to the 1st one on a weekday (not on opening day) there will be less people so it should be ok.
    enjoy!
