Is he pulling himself up on his own? Is he walking around the furniture? Do you have a walker that you can put him in?
We just walked around the house etc with dd holding her hands helping her get her balance.
They will just do it when they are ready though
We thought DD would walk about that age as she was doing everything so confidently, but she didn't end up walking until she was 15 months old
    Just have to be patient

I wouldn't be rushing it - once they are walking, you'll be missing the days when they weren't as mobile!! He'll do it in his own time. DD would pull herself up and walk using the furniture, and we also had a push along pram, and everyone said that she'd be an early walker as she was donig this from about 7months, but it took her till her birthday before she took any solo steps.
