Extremely clingy all of a sudden..

Jack has decided the last week to be velcro toddler! He won't go to anyone but me or DH and when there are other people around he just wants to sit on my knee and grope my boobs, LOL.
Nan and Pop are visiting at the moment and he doesn't want anything to do with them either. We are all leaving this afternoon to go to their place for a week, and I was looking forward to a week of sleep-ins, lol, as Pop always takes Jack for an hour walk in the mornings when we wakes up....there goes that! He used to love his walks with Pop but now he doesn't want to go.
I'm sure it's all just a normal stage of toddlerhood, but how long do you think it will last! I want my fun-loving, friendly, independent little boy back! Although, I must say I am enjoying the extra cuddles, LOL.

DS hasn't gone quite to the same extremes but has become shy in the last month. He was never shy before and would go to literaly anyone but now it takes him a good 1/2 hr to warm up to my dad and if all the grandparents are together he get's really shy with them.

I hope that Jack warms up to his poppy in the first day so you get your sleepins.

It must be this age. My DD is really clingy to me at the moment also, but she will go to her grandparents but they spend heaps of time at our place helping lol. Actually sometimes she clings to her Nan as much as she clings to me as long as she has one of us she is happy lol. Hopefully if you staying with them he warms up to them quickly and you you get you sleepins

Vy started at 14 months and hasnt let go...she wont talk to anyone and screams or grunts when others talk to her she's almsot 3 1/2 and it is doing myhead in!!!!

Were as M.....he is more then happy to chat ot you offer you the pooh from his nappy but dont touch me
