    Teething Trouble

    HI, I need help.
Basically Olive slept through from 8wks to 5mths. She then got sick and started teething all around the same time and has basically woken between 2-8 times a night since (she is almost 9mths) with a couple of nights of sleeping through. We try to settle her the first time as she has trouble self settling but after that she comes into our bed as we both work (me part time) and are pretty exhaused anyway. Olive already has 7teeth and i'm wondering if the waking is due to that or the other issues we have such as rolling over numerous times through the night and trying to crawl around or a bit of everything. We have recently gone back to wrapping as this seems to help her settle. I don't practice controlled crying and would feel bad not knowing if she is crying cause she is in pain.
How long does teething last? Any tips or suggestions would be great. We give her Bongella or panadol if we think she really needs it.
ETA Not sure this makes sense as I only had 4hrs sleep last night.

I had a few friends who had trouble when bubs were teething they used the teething tablets they work a treat

Jack had a little trouble with his eye ones and wasn't sleeping well we would give him one before bed and he would sleep perfectly

they are available at most chemists I can't think of the brand though

yes hylands teething tablets are awesome! they can be given with panadol too if need be.
OM - Ive had similar probs to you, but last night for the first time in over a month DD2 slept thru!
I know they go through a wakeful time when they go through developmental changes, hopefully it passes for you soon!
    Hang in there

I could of written your post word for word when Jake was 9 months old!
When he was around 5 months he was teething quite bad, and also had a cold and was waking almost every hour. I did exactly the same thing as you, settled him with a feed the first time and when he woke again would come to our bed.
Unfortunately this was a bit of a "bad habit", I didn't mind him being in our bed but he was very restless and none of us got much sleep.
It's only now, DS is 18 months old, that he's just started sleeping thru again. Obviously not all those 9 months he was teething, he'd just forgotten how to settle himself and I wasn't about to let him cry himself back to sleep, so I was patient and let him do it in his own time. In the last couple of months I've also night weaned, so no more boobie during the night and I think this may have helped too.
So for me it was about being patient and being there for him, which unfortunately resulted in lots of loss of sleep.
I hope it happens sooner for you!
