Hi guys

I have a DS who is nearly 17 months old. Lately, he has taken to having screaming fits if he doesnt get his own way. I admit this is not very often, but when it does happen, boy is he loud. It particularly happens when we are at the shopping centre and he wants to walk but only in the directions that HE chooses! (Yes very frustrating!)
I know tantrums and everything are part of the whole 'raising children' thing, but what do you do when the toddler is so young? At least when they are older, they understand what they are doing wrong. What do you guys do?
A few people have told me that the "terrible one's" are worse than the "terrible two's". Do any of you agree with this??
