    A toddler already?

Last night my grandmother called my DS a toddler! She was comparing DS to a cousin of mine who is 2 weeks younger than DS and has downs - saying how my cousin is more like a baby cause he's not sitting/crawling/standing, etc, while my DS is a toddler!

Nooooo!!!! He's only 9 months! I'm not ready for DS to be a toddler! He's going to be my little baby forever!

Besides, I thought babies were considered toddlers from 12 months???

nah i would think 9 months is still very much a baby...
i consider them as toddlers when they are walking AND talking...

    it won't be long though!!!!!

He will be your baby forever!! I would class a toddler as being able to walk....not before

My DS was 15 months when he started walking, and he was definitely a baby till then!

Yeah, i'd say from walking Not talking, cause my ds would technically still be a baby!

I remember my mum saying that time passes so quickly once they are walking. And it's true- the faster he gets, the faster the time goes

Yeah, once they're 'toddling' (lol) thats when I said Jazz was a toddler

She'll always be my baby though...
(my dad said that to me once in front of my friends, I was 16 and it was 'so embarrassing' to me at the time, but sweet now I think about it )
