Toddler chair.... where would I get one?

Hello everyone.... hope someone can help, I want to buy DD a toddler chair for her birthday. Not one of those foam flip out sofa things, more like a mini grown ups armchair. I can find them on the US ToysRUs website but I don't know where I would find one. I want to try before I buy.... Any suggestions? I'm in Sydney.

there are heaps around. Target have dora and in the night gardern ones and sometimes elmo ones. Furniture shops usually have them. Mayb have a look on ebay???

Thanks babe, I'd prefer something not licenced IYKWIM and not foam, I want something that is like a little grown up chair. Might have to try ebay or online although I would prefer to see/ try before buying.

there was one on e-bay this week that is a kids version of the rocking chairs you get for feeding from baby bunting. i thought it was very cute.

oh.... i have seen these. Sometime they come with a foot stool too

Yep that's the kind of thing I mean.... I like to look at things and try them out before I buy them but it's hard these days cause almost everything is online!

I remember seeing these at toys r us. Just a pink one and looks like an adult armchair but smaller.

Not sure if they still have them as they were on clearance at liverpool (nsw) toys r us.

They were just plain ones no patterns

The reject shop had leather look kids armchairs a couple of weeks ago in Pink Red or Blue

Fantastic Furniture used to have kid size chairs too

I too would suggest both IKEA or Fantastic Furniture if you want to try first. IKEA does a few different ones. I've too seen the shiny retro like ones in a pink or blue, they are at some of the cheaper shops...sorry not sure what ones. We have Mojo couches that I love....you can google them & I've just found a store online that has similar but in foam so they don't lose there shape & heaps cool colours. They are currently on sale too, I was going to get some for DS toy room. PM if you want the link.

Thanks for your replies and PMs folks.... I went to Toys R Us at Alexandria but they didn't have anything like what I wanted... and Liverpool is a bit far. I did find a cute little pink striped one in a kid's decor place in Bondi Junction.... but it was $350!!!!! So I think I'll get something online. Cheers for the tips
