    Number 1's and number 2's

    Hi all
Not too sure what is the "norm" in this department. I have read lots about the amount of nappies a newborn goes through in a day but can't find too much about the content.

My little one seems to go through plenty but they seem to be mainly poos and not too many wees. Is this pretty normal or should there be more wees?

I am using disposables so maybe it is a little more difficult to tell if he has had just a small wee.

    Any advice would be helpful.

    Thanks ladies !
    Jacki

Are you breastfeeding? Quite often breastfed babies in the first few weeks do a lot of poos. If it is just a little skiddy (lol) just leave it for a while to gauge how much wee he is doing..

Congrats on your baby by the way

Yep - I'm breastfeeding and so far so good. He's a hungry little bugga - I am sure he has done a million poos already ! Hats off to all those cloth nappy users !

I used to use cloth nappies with my first till my washing machine broke but now I could never go back. Just the amount of washing it creates. My hat goes off to them as well..

I am glad breastfeeding is going well for you.. they sure are hungry little things aren't they
