When did your LO drop to one day sleep?

My DD seems to be dropping to one day sleep - she's just about to turn 10 months. It seems far too early? She probably would have two sleeps, but the second would be so late in the day that her bedtime would be later than I'm willing to stay up. She sleeps anywhere from 1.5 hours to 3 hours usually.

Just wondering what other bubs are/were doing? DS was around 12 months when he dropped to one day sleep.

I think my DD was around 11 months. She would have a morning nap and a afternoon nap now its 2-3 hours in the middle of the day.

DD1 I think was around 14 months until she dropped to one sleep. DD2 is 12 months now and still having two sleeps although it's only a short (1/2hr) morning one and then a long (2hr) afternoon one. But I say if that's what she wants, go with it! One sleep is so much easier, I can't wait! lol.

My DD dropped all her naps at 9 months, but started having one again at 12 months.

From memory I think about 18 months, then dropped the one sleep at 2 and a half

For us it was a very slow transition. It was probably around the 10/11 month mark when it started. We'd have a few days where we'd only get one nap in (in the morning) and then flip back to two for a couple of weeks, and back again, and again. But by the time he got to 18 months we had settled into consistently having one sleep a day.

Funny, we're just starting the same thing all over again with going to no sleep. This time though I'm happy for it to drag out for as long as it takes, longer even!

DD is 16 months & went down to one sleep over the last 2 or so months. I'm not happy with it! Most days that one sleep is only about an hour long.
