DD1 Freaks out when birds call

DD1 is 3 now and we are slowly getting her sleeping in her own bed but the problem is that she freaks out when she hears birds calling when she is about to go to sleep and the crack of dawn. Usually the Currawongs and Ravens as they make a haunting sound but I tell her that the birds are looking for a tree to sleep in and calling out to their friends and in the morning they are looking for some breakfast. Has anyone else had their little one freak out when birds call and how did you go about it? I guess it's louder in Summer with the windows open.

What about buying a white noise cd of some sort and having it on repeat all night? so it blocks out the sounds of the birds.

good idea tinkerbelle but since I've posted this it has mostly been ok thank goodness. I guess the birds haven't been hanging around our windows or something and it's good that it is cooling down too so we can shut the windows to keep the noise level down. I haven't seen the Ravens or Currawongs hanging around as much either so I hope it stays that way.
