DD appears to have teeth coming through in a big way. very very clingly and grizzly this morning, bright red cheeks, no temp (last check 36.2) slept right through.
Would you still sendto daycare and let the mum know to call if i need to get her?? its fdc and dd is nearly 16months
tia
I'd dose her up on panadol and give her a bath this morning then see how she is. If she's still grizzly than no, I wouldn't take her because you'd probably get a call to come and get her anyway..
i would give her some panadol/nurofen now (if you use it) and send her i always sent my daughter whilst teething just pack all her teething necessities with her when you go so the mum there has everything she needs to comfort your little one
I send mine with the pain relief so the carers can give them some as required. I warn them that they should expect her to be cranky and they are fine with it. DD2 usually gets more distraction and has a better day if she does go.
I agree with Nai, usually the distraction at daycare helps them. I'd follow the other ladies advice, give pain relief and just let them know that you'll come and get her ASAP if she isn't settling.
Thanks Girls.
I have sent her with nurofen etc. We'll see how she goes. My poor baby girl i just wanted to lay in the aircon all day and cuddle her.... better there than here at work where the aircon is broken!!!!!!!!!!
If I am sure it is just teething, I send DD as she is always happy there. Other kids distract her from her misery! (But if I think there is more in it, I keep her home).
