Miss B has never been the best of sleepers but we are getting use to that now, the thing that we are stuggling to get use to is the way she wakes up!
She just screams and screams and screams! no happy playing in the cot, not stiring than wake up, no mum mum mum or dad dad dad, its a awful sounding scream that just dosent stop until we get her than she is happy as larry!
Why is she doing this?
Is it normal?
will it stop, obviously before she is a teenager? which than she will prob still scream at us if we wake her?
Its just really not a nice wake up call or start to the day exspecially when her wake is 0430!!!!
I don't really have any advice but my DD wakes exactly the same way.

DS sleeps in our room in his cot, next to our bed, he wakes up screaming probably 75% of the time, if he wakes and doesnt scream, he will start screaming if no one is in the room, or we are asleep.
Sometimes he even does it when we are all in the big bed together
Sorry I have no idea, I just thought it was a "normal" thing he would eventually grow out of.
Jazz used to scream every wake-up, now its only sometimes, so I think they grow out of it gradually. NO idea why she does it though, although I did wonder if it was because I fed to sleep and she didn't fall asleep alone in her bed KWIM. It's only ever in the cot though, of course when we co-sleep she just crawls over to me. But I don't know if your DD falls asleep in the cot or not, so that'd blow my theory out of the water!
Aricyn was exactly the same. Only stopped when we cut out the day naps.
Some people just don't wake up well - I think its the same for kids. Just personality I think. DD1 is a great waker - she just sits in her bed and chats or sings until we hear her and go grab her. Totally different kids.
So yeah - sorry no advice, but ours didn't stop till he was over 2.
Wow glad to hear I'm not the only one who has a screamer upon waking up!
I thought this was really abnormal, but appears to be the opposite, that's good news!
DS is getting better slowly now, at night time if he wakes up he still screams but during the day after his nap he'll chat to himself for a few minutes before yelling out mummmy! He turns 2 this week.
Miss B sleeps in her room in her cot and 98% of the time is awake when she goes now!
My gosh not sure if i can handle this until she is 2! its horrible!
