    well that was fun...

Not sure why but DD has had a shocker of a day! Starting at morning tea time when she threw a tanty (ending up banging her head on her high chair tray) because I picked her plate of fruit up off the floor, when she wasn't anywhere near it and had seemingly finished eating
Have had a few little tanties this afternoon, ending about 5 mins ago when she started screaming and trying to throw herself on the floor because I wouldn't let her press buttons on our answering machine or open the door to the plastics cupboard (which I'd just put back together after she pulled everything out while I was cooking dinner)..so took her off to bed quicksmart, where she then got one back by giving me a good poke in the eye (and trying to scratch/bite me while I was carrying her into her room). Ouch!

Cheering for silence tonight, hopefully it stays that way. And wishing I had some coke, I could go a big cold glass of Malibu & Coke right now (and I don't drink very often at all!).

Sounds like we had similar days! I've just finished a scotch and coke, enjoying the peace and quiet!

    Hope your eye is ok.

Must have been the day for it! I was longing for a nice cold glass of vodka, lime and soda earlier. Settled for a cuppa tea and a packet of chocolate wheatens.

Well, at least I know I wasn't alone! Lol. Sadly, I will have to go a nice cold glass of non-alcoholic lemonade & red cordial

the audacity of it - taking her fruit when she'd finished! nasty mum it's amazing what sets them off! the other day here was because he couldn't open a door handle. i understand that it's frustration & all that but geeez it gets a bit tiring!

hope your eye is ok & today is a much better one for you

shoshana- I don't think it's going to be any different today...she was awake from 11 until 2am last night so is sooo overtired! And of course I'm tired and cranky too now!
