    Wink Ruby flew too

My girlfriend gave my DD a book called "Ruby flew too" - it was for Mackenzie but really, it was actually for me because the story has a very strong message that has made a big difference in my life in the past few days!!

In the book there are 5 eggs but 4 hatch and the father asks "when will it hatch?" and the mother replies "in her own time" and it does. And so the book goes on, Ruby doesn't eat but mum or dad replies "she will in her own time". It happens with swimming and then flying.

It's such a sweet book and gee it made me feel better about Mackenzie not crawling or eating yet. I usually cruise along quite happily but then I see other bubs at mum's group and start to panic a bit. Anyway since I have read this book I am very happy and know that Mackenzie will do these things in her own time...jut like Ruby duck! And when I saw my MCH today I didn't worry at all about anything!! Yay! I also know (and have known this for awhile but didn't give her enough credit) that she is doing things that other bubs aren't so she's fine.

So if you're like me and sometimes worry about what your bub is and isn't doing - read this book!!! It will bring a smile to your face!

Sounds like a lovely book - I could have used it at 11months also - FWIW - I could probably still use it daily

BJ didn't crawl until he was 11months but then just got up and walked at 12 - so each baby will do their own thing in their own time
