Question What do you think these spots are?

This morning is like every other morning. After breakfast DH and I gave the girls a shower cause they got honey EVERYWHERE!
When they got out of the shower I was drying and dressing DD1 when I noticed these red dots on her tummy. They are little dots, not much bigger than a freckle. Upon searching her I found a few more on her back and one on her leg.

Half hour has passed and a few have disappeared from her back, and maybe her tummy, but Im not entirely sure.

She has her vac's up to 6 months old. Never got 12month or 18month ones.
Now I'm sitting here freaking out that those dots may be chicken pox.

DD1 isnt itchy, they dont even bother her. We made her a drs appt for this arvo, and I am so hoping that its not the pox.

Gosh I feel like the worst mum in the world.

What do you think these dots could be?

Could it be heat rash?? My DD is breaking out big time at the moment the poor poppet its so stinking hot!

    Or possibly a viral rash?

By the sounds of it I really dont think it is chicken pox as they are generally pretty miserable for the few days leading up to spots appearing.
Take her in to get it checked out but if she is happy and seems well in herself then I dont think its much to be concerned about

has she been unwell or fluey?

chicken pox look liek pimples and have a pussy white looking head on them usually.

it may be a heat rash, or it could be reaction to something
have you changed detergents or powders/ soaps recently?

    your not a bad mum,

both girls were sick about a fortnight ago, but they both seem fine now. Well this week she has been her usual happy self.
The only change in her routine was that she started back at swimming lessons on tuesday.

If there's any question of being chicken pox, make sure you tell the receptionist at the drs so you can wait in a seperate area to the other patients. Good luck, I hope it's somethng simple and they go away soon (chicken pox is a pain in the derriere)

    Thank you ladies!

I went into get her ready to go to the appt, and every single dot was gone!! I checked a little over an hr ago and they were still there, but now they have gone entirely. DD1 said that they were not itchy or sore, but that they went a little while ago.
So I ended up cancelling her appt for now. She has no other symptoms so I figured I may as well give the appt to someone who migt need it. I did talk to the lady on the phone about it and she said they reappear then to call and they'll fit us in!

    But thank you!
