what does your 3 year old eat?

just wondering what other 3 year olds are eating, as in, for the whole day.
DD is 3 in a few weeks, and sometimes i worry she isnt eating enough.

    Breakfast-
i make her a bowl of cereal (her choice) -once a week she will actually eat it, and ask for more, but generally she wont have more than one mouthful. i offer her toast about half an hour later, but she prefers a sandwhich, which ends up being 3 pieces of bread with peanut butter.
i'll offer an apple or banana for morning tea.. most days she will have either, some days she wants more sandwhich..

Lunch- scrambled eggs (i''l make 4 eggs, and she'll eat the lot) or frankfurst and rice (again her choice!) or ham and cheese roll/toasted cheese sandwhich

afternoon tea i again offer fruit, she'll have an apple or banana, but doesnt always eat it all. we might have a fruit bun, or like today a bread stick with vegemite.

Dinner we have a range of things, but she will never ever eat the whole lot. we dont serve her a big plate.. but i make sure its enough and always offer her more if she does eat it.

i just feel like she doesnt eat enough. i have a bunch of new recipes to try, but dont want to overwhelm her with too much new stuff lunch/snack wise.

just interested to see how much other 3 year olds eat!

That sounds about what Darcy eats...
Porridge/vita brits for brekkie - this is the meal I'm almost guaranteed she'll eat all of, but she only has 1 vita brits
crackers, bickies, fruit, yoghurt throughout the day, sometimes a sandwich for lunch, sometimes nothing,
    and occasionally she'll eat dinner.

Krystal sounds like a good little eater Rach. I reckon give the new recipes a go - she'll soon let you know how much she likes them.
I never really worry about dinner cos often they too tired to go to the effort of eating much - heck sometimes I don't feel like dinner.

Lunch-sandwich, pasta or frankfurts or crackers with vegemite and fruit

hmm i guess she does eat enough, i think somedays i worry because she seems to be asking for food every 5 minutes, but wont eat her actual meals... i always keep the fruit on a low shelf in the pantry, and tell her to pick what fruit she wants to eat.

i will give the new stuff a go, at least if she doesnt eat it, i will!!
