What have you done to get your toddler to eat veggies

I cannot get my 2yo to eat veggies. I have served them up steamed, boiled, mashed covered with cheese or sauce, grated and mixed into pasta sauce, mixed into rissoles, as a frittata, in fried rice, and as nuggets etc. Think I have done it all. Mostly just trying peas, corn, potato, carrott, broccoli and cauliflower.

I am so desparate I have just got some veggie sausages to try. LOL

Any success stories on how you got your toddler to eat his veg?

im lucky in that sophie likes vegies and one thing that she loves is i steam up a big variety of vegies and puree them with a little cream/milk and or avocado and serve it as a sauce over pasta, its a
    huge hit here!

Yesterday I made vege pancakes! HUGE HIT! Serve up with a bit of sauce (Jazz likes sweet and sour, and tomato).

My sister has made something similar to olive's pasta sauce for Jazz and she loved that too.

Jazz will also eat roasted vege's. ESPECIALLY pumpkin and sweet potato! Actually, she'll eat pumpkin and sweet potato in any form. I usually mash potato with either pumpkin or sweet potato, and she'll eat that usually too.

Have you tried rissoles? I grate cucumber, carrot, onion & cheese into mine.
Potato fritters? Mum used to make them & we loved them with tometo sauce. I haven't tried, but I'd love to one day.
I mash potato with pumpkin all the time. Kids are used to that.

A friend of mine ate green mashed potato for years before her young brother said something & her DD caught onto what was going on, lol!

Have you tried them just plain? DS will try some. Frozen? DD1 used to love frozen veggies! Specially when it was hot! I gave them to her straight from the pack...she also eats raw potato though, lol!

OH, yes we have done that too!!! YUMMY sweet potato, potato mash with diced carrots, peas and corn. She picked out the carrot (she really dislikes it...) but ate most of the rest.

Thanks ladies - keep the ideas coming

Olive - like the idea of the creamy puree over pasta which he loves.
BJ - yup tried rissoles and fish cakes. Also tried veggies by themselves both frozen and fresh.
Leasha - as a kid I'd never eat pumpkin by itself but loved it in potato.

Thinking I might go buy that Deceptively Delicious book.
