Over the past 3 weeks or so Georgia has gone from a happy calm little person to a biting, thrashing, tantrum throwing unhappy unsatisfied little girl.
I am so confused as to why this is happening but I am assuming its is due to something changing or happening. She has just been fully weaned from the breast so I thought this might have something to do with it, she is close to walking and also the health nurse said she has all four molars coming through. I can see one coming through for sure but not the others but she wont really let me check her mouth all that well.
She hates me putting her down and if I do she will throw herself face first on the floor, headbutting it and screaming. I have just been ignoring this behaviour and after a little while she stops. When she gets frustrated which is alot of the time lately she bites me really hard, I have bruises and marks all over my shoulders from her. When she does this I put her into time out for a couple of minutes which is just an empty play pen. She is most of the time ok after this.
Her eating has been still pretty good, a little fussy but not too bad.
She is covered in bruises also from her tantrums.
Sometimes I feel like she just hates me, I dont know how to help her I have been close to tears on a couple of occasions I hate seeing her like this.
I have done a little research into behaviour changes when molars are coming through and the stories sound similiar. I am hoping this is all it is and it will pass fairly quickly.
