What started your toddlers tantrum today?

We all know that toddlers are prone to tantrums which can be triggered by the simplest of things, so what has tipped your bub over the edge lately?

Yesterday DS had a meltdown because I got him the wrong flavour of muesli bar.
Today it was because he had to wear pants.

This morning we are all out of jam...that started it. But it's only 8.30am, so shall pop back in later & fill in the rest LOL. Next to come is getting dressed, then prob not wanting to go to gymnastics. And prob in there somewhere a tanty about a cupcake or something he can't have.

ohhh this morning. She got in trouble for standing on a glass coffee table and was told to hop down. Apparently im a mean mummy for not wanting her to fall through it and end up in Emergency getting glass pulled out of her. Im horrible!

Gosh where to start?? It 's been a great morning here, not!

Not giving her bickies for breaky.
Not letting her drink DH coke.
Not giving her her blankie when she demanded I get off the lounge and get it for her.
Trying to help her open the bathroom door for her to go to the toilet before she pee'd herself.
Having to put undies on to go down the shops....then not letting her put a nappy on to go down the shops (I gave in on this one so much easier to get a nappy on her than the undies!!).

Thankfully we only ever get minor tantrums. We've had two already today though.

He asked for oatmeal for breakfast then after I made it for him he asked for something else. He cried when I made him eat the oatmeal.

I made him wash his hands after peeing in a public washroom.

Jordy whacks me when he doesn't want to go down for a nap (even though he is asleep now so obviously needed it) but he flings himself face down at the drop of a hat.
I have to admit I struggle to keep a straight face, so that probably doesn't help

I don't have a toddler but DS aged 12 threw a massive wobbly about 10 mins ago over having to pick his shoes up and put them in the shoe box by the front door!

    oh where to start
first one i took the box of chocies off DD
second made her wear shorts to school and put a clean nappy on
the i wouldnt let her take her green chair to school.
oh then i made her sit in her car seat with the seat belt done up.

oh soo frustrating but so funny the things she looses it over.

oh and i think i made her milk wrong, i put it in the microwave the wrong way or something im sure..

Yep, I hate to break it to you too but my 15 yr old and my 12 yr old throw their daily tanties too... usually over having to do homework before going somewhere, or because they have to wash or wipe up after dinner, either way it is seriously a DAILY occurrence sadly.

I still don't know exactly, something about her shorts???

And I didn't collect her from FDC yesterday, but every day when I do there is a *massive screaming tanty* involved with her wanting to sit in mummy's seat and drive the car!

And I'll second the older child tanties too (could be hormonal?) - only reason I missed out on one this morning (over sugar on her breakfast) was because I shut myself in the bathroom for a shower just as she was starting up. LOL

Today and yesterday it was because I took him to DS1's kindy drop off before taking him to day care. Both days he has refused to leave and I've had to carry him out kicking and screaming. Which I hate doing but I have to catch the train into work afterwards and if I miss it it's half and hour till the next one, so I can't wait too long for him to calm down. What a great start to a long day!!
