What was your baby's head circumference...?

Hi all, what was your baby's head circumference at birth(in cms please)???

I was told when DD was born her head circumference was bigger than average (she was born at 42.5 weeks and was pretty well cooked) but now I'm curious if this was true or not!

DS head was 31.5cm and DD was 36cm, most of my friends bubs were around the same.

36.5cm he was 3 weeks early but I think he was 50% but he is nearly 90% now if he crosses the 90 line we need to see a paed

Milos was 38cm. His was bigger than average, but then he was 10lb 4oz too, and 41w+3

DS#1 was 38.6cm and he was considered well and truly bigger than average (especially in proportion to the rest of him) but his is long more than round (they thought he had plate issues but he was just ok). and he was born at 38 weeks and weighed 1oz short of 9lb at 8lb15oz. by six weeks it was 41cm and then by 8 months 47cm.

DS#2 was only 35cm

Chelsea was 34cm. She was born at 39w4d.

Her head is now 42.5cm at 4 months old.

My little girl was 35cm and she was 2 days early

Charlie's was 37cm at 39w6d, and that was considered big as he was overall only an average weight at 7lb14oz.

DS was 37.5(ouch) at 38 weeks

OK, so I'm getting the idea that anything over 35cm gets an "OUCH"!

DD was 36.5 which isn't huge but larger than some...! (And I sure felt it coming out, especially since her arm came out the same time)!

sophie was 35cm at birth, 39w ,and now 40.5cm at 5 months

Claires head was 33cm. Not huge, but it did do some damage.
She was born at 38.5weeks.

DS1 was 33cm and DS 2 was 37cm and his head has remained in the 97 percentile even at 12 months old!

DD2 was 36.1 vbac and 41 +4

OMG at 42 cm!!!!!

OK, so I finally googled "head circumference at birth percentiles site:.au" and apparently 37cm is on the 90th percentile and 36 is on the 75th percentile so DD's head would have been >85th percentile-ish then.

Hmm interesting!

seth was 16 days overdue and had a 37 cm head... and weighed 9lbs 10oz.
