Cool When to change the stroller angle?

Well Pip's currently three months (today!) and we're going to a festival on Sunday. I've been putting him in his Phil & Ted's Cocoon and having that horizontal in his pram. Now on Sunday, he won't see anything at the festival!

When can we start to move the pram away from the horiztonal? There are 2 intermediate angles before fully sitting. I think they are at something like 30deg and then 45deg?

Will this hurt him or damage his body at all?

    Please help!

i lvoe the name patrick, and he is gorgeous! I always just gauged it by how much he slumped over in the seat, if i put it up and he slumped a lot i would put the seat down a bit. i really don't think you can do much damage. Putting a newborn in the upright position would do damage im sure bt a 3 month old on an incline is fine. There are a lot of strollers that are made for babies from 3 months and up as they don't lay completely flat they are on a bit of an incline. I'd say put the seat to the next level after flat.

Hope that helped, enjoy the festival, im sure Patrick will love checking everything out.

hollie hated lying down in the pram so i had her propped up quite early, maybe too early, but it was the only way she was happy and that i could actually use the pram... i think at about 6-8 weeks she was on a slight incline... by 3 months she was certainly more upright, now at 4 months she sits quite upright with only a slight incline... just go by your baby, what is okay for some isn't for others... hollie was extremely alert so wasn't interested in laying in a pram where she couldn't see anything.... its so nice when they can watch the world go by...

I have a pram with 4 levels too. I did have it flat for a while then moved it up to the next one at about 3 - 3.5 months because that was when she started wanting to see everything around her!

She now hates laying down in the pram and when she is I can see he trying to sit up, so I have moved it again to be almost upright at almost 5 months. She isnt able to sit up on her own, but when she can, I will probably move it fully upright.

    Thanks All!

He really enjoyed the festival, he watched the horsies and the doggies and then slept for a bit ... I do feel better with him on the incline, it must be so boring just lying down all the time...
