When did you stop using the baby monitor?
Im just wondering, as my DD sleeps through the night, 6:30pm - 7:00am, and I still use the monitor, just to be sure. I think thats more because she is located at the other side of the house than anything. We can hear her in our room if she is crying, but I fear that it may not be loud enough.
Still using the sound part at 16m. Stopped the movement monitor at about 11m I think. I guess I will keep using it until she is old enough to get out of bed and come and get me if there's a problem
We still use the sound monitor and our DD is 2 1/2. As she is over the other side of our house, it just gives me and DH piece of mind to know that if she has a bad dream or cries we can hear her. She can get out of her bed, but tends to stay in there until one of us gets her in the morning after waking up.
I guess its a personal choice really. We wouldn't have used one if bub was gonna be in the next room, but coz she is waaaay on the other side of the house I said Id feel so much better having one.
Yeah thats ok then! Wasn't sure if I was just being naive! We're going to have bub in the next room. Just don't want to be buying so much stuff that we have to leave it all behind when we go back to the UK!
The first night!!! Our house is so small and we could hear her better just from room to room. Also every time my DH sneezed I could hear it through the monitor - it echoed!! I'm really glad we don't use one cause I can relax at night rather than listening for every noise.
We used ours for about 2 mths at night, after that we stopped as every grunt and groan would wake us, and we can hear her cries from our bedroom.
We still use the sound monitor when we are up watching TV as sometimes we dont hear here and also if we are outside in the evening or during her day sleeps.
We still use the movement monitor, dont know when that will stop - its great peice of mind, especially as she is a tummy sleeper.
I have noticed though that if the ceiling fan is on high, the monitor thinks that she is still in bed... off topic, but thought i would mention this so others were aware.
