When was play introduced

I'm just wondering at what stage should I be introducing play into the feed, play, sleep routine. Georgie is 9 days old so I am just doing feed, sleep at the moment.

I started playing with Nina when she started becoming more alert, I think from memory that was around 3 weeks. Before then, she'd just sleep & feed.
The sort of things I'd do is give her some tummy time, show her things, read to her, take her for lots of walks. That sort of thing.

Around 3 weeks here too! Lots of variety is good - time under her play activity mat, on her tummy, in her bouncer with dangly toys, with me on my lap for chats, reading books, with her mobile on and walks! HtH!

Around 3 weeks here too, with all 3 of mine..........although it was only about 15 mins worth of chatting/play/awakey time beofre they were then shattered again!

But it gradually eaks out so you get to spend more time rolling round with them.....
