    Present idea from a Godmother?

Hi, my best friend has asked me to be her daughters Godmother, and I am trying to think of a special gift that I can give to her daughter, - something different than anyone would give.

I am struggling to get some ideas - can anyone help me with this please??

Have you seen the pandora bracelets ? Have a google - they're are many other brands other than Pandora too, but you will get the idea. Why not give her a charm with her birthstone....each year you can then add to the collection. The bracelet (silver) is about $70, and a pretty charm ranges from $30 up. All my girls have them now and each birthday we will add to them.....

My DD's godmother gave her a lovely gold cross on a chain for when she's older. Her godfather gave her a silver spoon and a bible (not a Children's bible, since our church gives all children christened there one).

I like the traditional gifts, since lots of other ppl gave her non-traditional gifts. Her godmother also lent us her christening dress (I didn't have one)!

For her birthday each year i get her another charm to add to it.
It is something that evolves with her
