Where to go for pidgeon toed child ???

We;ve noticed DD#3 walks with her left foot in.....it seems to have gotton worse over a few short weeks. I wasnt that bothered (thinking it would correct itself), but now i think its causing her to fall over, and its very noticeable. Where do i go -GP, paed, or podiatrist???

I'd see the GP for a start. It may not be her foot it might be something else that is turning her feet in (knees, hips?)

I didn't realise my DD was pigeon toed, but walked on tiptoes and was often falling over & didn't have a lot of control when running.
We saw a few different people to get opinions a Physiotherapist, GP, Health Nurse etc..

In the end we went to ICB (Gait & posture Clinic), not sure if you have them in Sydney but he is a Myotherapist & Biomechanist, who specialises in feet, hips... He prescribed DD orthotics after lots of measurements and impressions taken of her feet. The Improvement has been dramatic but over time as DD was a severe case, she compensated by walking on her toes so she didn't fall over as much..

Good Luck with it, Let me know if you want more info....
