    White poo - eek!

    hi ladies, TMI alert

Lachlan has recently had 2 white poos. One last night and one this morn. he wasn't more fussed by pooing than usual (cries afterwards cos wants bum changed).... last nights was small and v white and this morn was larger and not AS white i.e. more yellow and green in it than last nights.

He has colic so i've recently put him on colic formula and changed from brauers colic relief to infants friend (as heard GREAT things about it). is there anything to worry about.

any feedback/ advice would be GREATLY appreciated as am worried first time mother and I hate ringing the CYH all the time in a state of panic

If it's only a short term thing or perhaps you have changed formula then I wouldn't worry yet as it could be just that. If it persists though I would make a call or take him to the Dr to be on the safe side.

I don't want to be the panic merchant spreading doom and gloom but I think that it would be remiss of me not to mention that white poo can be an indicator of liver problems.
I think it would be in your babies' best interests just to pop up to your GP for a quick check.

I agree with Brontide. Pale poos indicate liver damage. Speak to your GP hun. Is bub getting dark coloured urine? Itchy skin?
