Kameron has complained of a headaches before. I asked him if it hurt on top of his head but he said it hurt on the inside. Is she playing okay during the day, eating enough ? If she does it again I would go and get her checked out.
Maybe try having her spine and pelvis aligned by an osteo?? Alot of headaches can be from being out of alignment in both adults and children. I only get headaches when i'm out and after being corrected they go away.
Also, babies born by c0section usually have problems with tightness in their neck and head which can cause headaches.
Its worth a try?? I know DD sleeps better after neing realigned too
Michelle - is she drinking enough? And have you had her eyes tested? Has she had an ear infection or ear problems lately? Our balance is maintained by part of the internal ear - if she has had hayfever, a cold, ear infection, or any ear problem - it could cause the spins. Also, vision impairments (as in, anything not perfect 20/20) can also contribute to head spins. I would definately get it checked out if you're worried or if it is persistent.
MG she does drink alot during the day. I haven't got her eyes tested i was thinking about doing that but not sure how she will go with reading the stuff they give you to read. She's not be sick in a while so i know it's nothing to do with her being ill.
Thanks for that Christine i was wondering how they would do it for her. I'll have to find somewhere to take her.
She's only complaining at night if she was going on about it during the day as well i would have taken her to the doctors by now.
I just find it strange that she only says about it at night. Half of me is thinking it is her way in getting some panadol i know she's been through that phase before wanting medicine before bed.
Kimberley is booked in to have her eyes tested next week that is the only time they had left. Once i have ruled her eyes out i will book her into see the doctor. I might try and do them both on the same day.
Good luch Michelle. I hope it isn't anything too serious and that she is ok.
If you think it might be a ploy to have medicine - why don't you try giving her a syringe full of normal water? You can get syringes from the pharmacy....
Hope the optometrist goes well Michelle, she could be just trying to get panadol, my DD was pretty keen on dimetapp when she was younger and often told me she needed it!! (My daughter the druggie LOL) Sometimes she just wanted it for attention too, the smart ones are always tricky! good luck.
