Wooden Side Rail on Toddler Bed

My 18 month old is learning to sleep in her toddler bed after sleeping in the queen sized bed with me but she keeps head crashing into the wooden side rail when she rolls over and wakes up crying. Do you think there is a way that I can cushion it for her?

or a pillow, or remove it all together.

I had the same problem and took it off. I was worried that Chase would fall out instead of bashing into the rail but he never did.

Rach, when my DH got home and I told him about it, he said the same thing. I didn't think of that and maybe I could wrap it around to secure it.

missymoo - good idea. I could do a trial during her day sleep to see how she would go without it and put some pillows on the ground just in case.
