Smile Wow, I can't believe he can do that already!

I thought it was a coincidence at first, but now I am completely sure - my DS can turn pages of books! He first started doing it about 3.5 months, but it was a bit hit and miss. Now he can grab hold of the page and turn it - and not just cardboard books, but paper books too (with only a few minor rips of pages, lol). It is certainly not something I was expecting him to pick up so young, but there you go! Sorry, not much point to this post - just a proud mama .

hehe how cute. Ashton started about the same age, but admittedly we had a bit more than a minor rip, he got so excited and ripped the WHOLE page out of his cat in the hat book lol
    Went back to board books!

LOL awesome! Ava was like that at about 3 months. And once she hit 4 months she could tell if the book she had was upside down or not, was pretty cute. Then a week later (still at 4 months) she stood up against furniture lol she's too smart for her own good me reckons

can they already stand up at 4 months? My DD is 3 1/2 months now and she cant even sit yet, is this normal?

Bubbles, the average age for sitting unaided is about six to seven months, so I wouldn't be worried if your 3 1/2 month old is not sitting yet. Your DD sounds perfectly normal

Yeah it's normal hun Ashton was pulling up to stand at about 4 or 5 months, crawling at 5 months, walking around the furniture at 6 months and sitting at 6 months. He was crawling before he could sit though. I think it's about the baby but don't expect them to sit before 6 months

Alibaby: I've been reading to Oliver since he was a month old or so (I think?), but I tend to read to him a few times a day. I love reading to him, and I'm not very imaginative with things to do with Oliver during playtime, so I often end up just reading to him, lol.

Wow about the bubs who could pull themselves to standing so young!
