    Angry Wrap or not...???

    Hi Ladies,

My boy is 6 weeks old now. Start from a couple of weeks ago, no matter how we wrap him, he always get his hands out and when he does that he nearly screams ... We thought he doesn't like being wrapped, so we let his hands out when wrapping him. He then moves his hands out a lot when sleeping and eventually wakes himself up. We then try wrap his hands back in again... he screams... and won't go to sleep...

    what should I do?

Try using a bigger wrap so its harder for him to get his hands out

Yep, was going to say the same...buy a bigger wrap...or use a cot/bassinette sheet - thats what im using ATM. My boy is 10wks old, and for the past few nights whilst using the sheet, ive found hes sleeping longer.... dunno if that makes a difference, but i will continue wrapping him for a few months yet...

DD hated being wrapped. I bought a sleep positioner and slept her on her side, and she was much happier. The roll cushions on her front and back kept her snuggled but her arms and legs were free IYKWIM?

DD wass the same. We started using cot sheets to wrap her and also wrapped her with her arms across her chest rather than by her side like the showed us in hosptial.

I thought the same for Nate, but we started using a Kiddopotamus velcro swaddle....fabulous invention. He's snug and I'm happy.
