    WWYD

When we got home from the hospital the whole family came down with a rotten flu. Try as I might to avoid it dd came down with it too. I was very sick with it and had a nasty sinus infection.

Anyway I am pretty sure dd has the sinus infection too and 3 weeks after getting the flu she still is very congested and has lots of thick green snot.

We went to the doc for a check up today and she isn't happy with it and prescribed AB's. Now I don't know whether to go fill it or not. I'm not a fan of AB's and try and avoid them as much as I possibly can. But on the other hand its breaking my heart watching her sick. It's affecting her feeding and sleeping and it would be nice to have her well again. I am devastated that she would even require them so early. Would you give her the AB's or just let her fight it out.

Oh no you poor thing and your poor bubba.....why don't you get it filled and then wait a day or so to see if she starts to improve? If she doesn't.....maybe start the antibiotics. I am pretty sure you can give probiotics to counter the nasty effects?

Me too, I would get it filled and start giving it to her. I'm not a fan of ab's either, but I think it is necessary here. Ryan gets the same sort of thing a lot, and it upsets me to always see him with a crusty face when I get him from daycare, or coughing because of the snot in the back of his throat when he sleeps. hope everyone is better soon.
