    Yay! 1ml of mylanta.....

And my day has been completely different! Amelia has been so happy and settled! No vomiting and no reflux and no screaming. I feel like I have a new baby and I am feeling so much more positive. I'm Sooooo glad I found someone who would listen to my problems today and offer advice

I guess there isn't much point to this post, I just wanted to celebrate - im so happy!!

Thats great! I know how hard reflux can be - for both the baby and the mumma! Are you seeing a paed about the reflux? mylanta is fine to use but its not good for long term use as contains aluminium. Your bub will prob need to be put on a different medication.

i swear my bub has reflux and my dr flat out refuses to give anything its quite frustrating!!

Very happy for you to have a great stress free day

its 11:38pm i spent ages at the hospital trying to see a different dr for my bubs reflux and this dr still refuses to give me anything to even atleast try it, can u tell me how often u were told to give ur bub the mylanta and is it just the normal mylanta??? (surely it wouldnt be the double strength stuff)

Woooo hooo!!! I completely understand what it is like to finally have a solution that works and it is amazing the difference it can make in a refluxy baby
DD2 is on Losec twice daily (7.5mg) and Gaviscon each or intermitent feeds depending on the day and she is a completely different baby, we have tried reducing them but she turns back into the screamiung inconsolibe sad bubba
But we will attempt to wean every tweo months to see if she has grown out of it or not.

Glad you found an answer! We thought ds was over his reflux but it is back this week so he is back on Zantac. I have the gaviscon as a back up too
