I'd like some advice with regards to my almost 10month old DS.
He really enjoys his food. I make it all myself and he has a large variety of foods each day as well as his formula too.
I'm just wondering if his behaviour is normal. He gets really whingy ('really' whingy) when he sees us in the kitchen. He knows there is food in there and he wants it. Also when we feed him and he has the last mouthful he starts crying. Even when it's just a between courses, he cries. He always seems to be hungry these days and I think he would eat until he explodes.
So my questions is: Is this behaviour normal for a baby this age? What can I do to stop the negative behaviour with regards to finishing a meal or having tantrums for food.
An example of his daily food intake would be:
3 bottles of 240mL formula
Water
1 x weetbix with sultanas
Eggplant, broccoli & Carrot with some ricotta cheese
Strawberries
Toast with Cheese
Watermelon
1 x plain cruskit
A little chicken and veg for dinner
This seems like alot of food to me but maybe it's not enough. I just don't know. He's a good size boy though so I guess I'm more worried about over-feeding and his tantrums with regards to the food.
