Vomitted after 4 month vacc - did it work?

Brock vomitted in the waiting room after his 4 month vaccinations.

Does anyone know if this affects the vacc they give orally?

I think my doc told me last time that it starts to work as soon as it hits the mouth but I'm not sure. It would have been at least 10 minutes after he took it - the doc had time to give him the other two injections and for us to sit at reception for a while.

He's always been a chucker so I'm not concerned about that, just if about the effectiveness of the vaccine.

Yeah I had always heard to you need to wait 10 mins. Maybe you could ring the GP in the morning and ask.

When DS had gasto the paed told me fluid needs to be kept down at least 20 mins before it is considered to be absorbed. Not sure if the same rule applies for oral vacc

When Ds had his 2 month injections, he spat the oral vac back out, the Dr told us not to worry as they didn't need all of it, and most bubs either spit some of it out or chuck it back up.
But maybe give them a call anyway, even if it's to put your mind at ease
