I can't yet recommend it because it was only lent to me today, but you could try:

"The Vaccine Book: Making the Right Decision for Your Child" by Dr Robert W. Sears.

It doesn't appear to be pro or anti-vaccination, but it gives details about the disease, the ingredients in the vaccine, the possible side-effects, and some reasons why people choose to vaccinate or not to vaccinate for that particular disease. It's by an American author but I think the information should still be relevant for Australia.

It's published by Little, Brown and Company in the USA. The edition that was given to me was published in October 2007.

I can give you a better review of it once I've read it! You can also check out his website - google Robert Sears or Dr Sears.

ETA: He also gives a long list of other resources that you might like to try.

Thankyou for your replies ladies! Sorry about the delay!

Have been reading "Vaccination" by Dr Veira Scheibner (found it rather hard to get into but am very at her findings) and other bits and bobs on the internet as well as spoken to some health professionals and i have made the decision to no longer vaccinate my children. I feel very comfortable with my decision after my research.

    Thanks once again x

    Thumbs up Recommended Vaccination Book

The best book I have read on vaccination to date is The Vaccine Safety Manual For Concerned Families and Health Practitioners. It contains both pros and cons, as well as over 1000 studies, with over 90 graphs etc, to help you make an informed decision.
It contains comments from registered doctors and paeditricians who are both for and against vaccines.

Personally, I believe this is not a decision you want to take lightly. Good on you for taking the time to do the 'dirty work'!! It sucks that we mummas have to be investigative health researchers too but no matter what you decide, you'll be so grateful that you made the effort!

    For future searches:
Just a Little P*r*i*c*k* By Hilary Butler and From One P*r*i*c*k* to another by the same author are excellent. Remove the * hehe

The Vaccine Book by Sears is great but based on the USA system which still has huge issues with mercury and the like.

Well Adjusted Babies is a great book on why not to vaccinate.
I saw that you are in Perth Hills - a chiropractor in the Hills, Kindred Chiropractic has a copy you can usually borrow.
    Good luck on your search!
