When DS was due for his 4 month needles he got a throat infection one week, and bronchiolitis the next, so didn't get them done til 5 months old...

DS is now 9 months old and still hasn't had his 6 (or 7) month needles - I forgot to get them done in the first place, and now I'm not sure if I want to get them done!

I haven't done any real research reading on the pros and cons, but just because 'everyone' gets them done doesn't mean we need to? Just like 'most' people use disposable nappies because they're 'easier', we have chosen to go cloth, because we feel that's a better choice for us... ITMS??

Am I putting my son's health at risk for not getting his needles?
