Flu Vaccination for 10 mth old

Has anyone got the flu shot for their baby? Does anyone know if there are any side effects? We are a family of 4 both myself and daughter (7 yrs old) get very sick with the flu I am not sure if I should get my baby done aswell. Any info you have would be great. I have googled it but can not find much info- plus getting info from people who have had or got the flu shot is so much more helpful as it is their personal experiences.

we got our 11 month old done and no side effects what so ever. It is not a live virus that is injected so they say safe, done in two lots for under 12 mths and recommended for little ones

My father got it every year and fell terribly ill with it (the flu) for 3 years in a row. He nervously missed it one year and was fine, so hasn't had it since. (years)

I'm glad he worked out what it was, he is in his 80's and got so knocked around by flu each year I thought we were going to lose him.
