neuri, I suggest trying to contact one of the autism service providers in Sydney. There is an active group of parents (of children with autism) who started a biomedical group. If anyone would know of a dr who splits the mmr they should. I believe there are drs involved in the group as well. Try Aspire Early Intervention, Center for Autism and Related Disorders inc (C.A.R.D.) or the Woodburry School. They should all have websites and could probably give you the contact info for the group. I hope that is helpful.....
I know that some people while unsuccessful in splitting the mmr are getting their drs to stagger the vaccines rather than getting all 3 at once. One line of thought is that the vaccines overload the immune system in children who perhaps have weaker immune systems. I certainly don't know if this is true...just sharing what I have heard others do
