Urghhhhhhhh
i reckon this is just a phase- she is realising that she doesn have to acutaully go to sleep - MRstr 2 did this tooooooooo. painful. but onley lasted about 3 weeks (LOL)
I'm sorry you're going through this right now, hearing your baby screaming can be really hard, especially when they're never usually like it.
The only advice I have is from my own personal experience. I have noticed lately that DS cries when the bedroom door is left open a little & he gets a bit of light in his room. Now I close the door completely & he "usually" goes straight to sleep in the dark
Maybe you need to try something a little different now.
they go through phases and need different things - maybe right now she needs a little more reassurance from you at bed time (it's not uncommon for babies at that age to experience separation anxiety).
Perhaps if you sat with her while she was settling, or told her a story or sang or something like that to reassure her that you're around and she's not all alone.
Another week on and we are still having the same problem.
I have been sitting with her quitely untill she is almost asleep, as soon as I leave the room she starts. I have sat with her the last two nights until she is completely asleep and then left. She has woken up about half and hour later and it all starts again.
This is taking it toll on her and myself. I have had to wake her in the morning to go to daycare which resulted in her being horrible to dress as she is tired. I checked with day care and she was fine through the day. I on the other hand can barely keep my eyes open at work and can feel another migrain coming on. I haven't had them in years and have had two in a week.
