Hi

I have just moved to the UK and the CHN here wants to give DD a shot of Men-C now....on the Oz schedule, it's not done until 12 months....and it's the only one.

Here they do two shots of it...one which she 'would' have already had, and then again at 12 months.

I'm just questioning it's necessity. I do vaccinate, but I don't want to if I don't REALLY have to for this particular shot. I don't know if there is any higher prevelance of the disease here it immunises against...I doubt it though. They can't tell me it won't let her get into a school here because DS didn't get it.....

I'm kind of feeling the pressure here.....she's going to get it anyway in a mere 3 months anyway....WDYT?
