    Neck crease looks infected

What can I put on DS's neck..

As hard as I have tried, I think I must have left some moisture in the crease of DS's neck, and it smells and is a little red. After cleaning with a cotton bud, and drying, do I need to put anything on it? Suggestions please.

    TIA

Some antiseptic cream might help? I'd just try to keep it as clean & dry as possible. Drool doesn't help, lol.

Cornflour- that's what my MCHN suggested to me, DD had a spot similar to that but under her armpit. It was all red and was a bit smelly. The cornflour, or plain flour would probably work, dried it up in a day or so. I also use it when she starts to look like she is getting a bit of nappy rash, rub in a bit of cornflour and it clears it up really quickly.

I had the same problem with DS2, some days it was really awful.

I used the Aroma Baby barrier cream on it. Cleared it up and also smelt nice

Willow, is that an organic one? I think I was looking at that range in the chemist a few weeks back when I was low on baby shampoo.
