This is Jazzy's new phrase. Used in context. It was HILARIOUS when she first said it, as most things are! We laughed and laughed. Novelty is wearing off now that she is saying "No way!" to everything.
Let's go have a shower Jazz... "No way!"
Come and have a nappy change... "No way!"
We're going to Bunnings, let's get in the car... "No way!"
Dinner's ready, come and sit down... "No way!"
ARGH! No way to your no way kiddo! I don't even know where she got it from, it's not something we say! She certainly is asserting her independance lately though, I hear no more than yes these days! Sometimes even when she means yes *double doh*
( It's still pretty funny, even though it's so frustrating! I have to stop myself from smiling or she thinks its a big game and keeps saying it!)
Oh yeah, it's big in our house too!
We were at a traffic light, heading down hill.
"Mummy! A Kombi!"
"No, it's just a van"
"An Ice-cream van?"
"No, just a van"
"We're going to go up the hill, aren't we?"
"No, down hill"
"No. No way."
We actually get 'yes' in response to some things now she's 2.5. As in, "do you want some chocolate?" "yes mummy!"
The catchphrase round here is "good job" which she got off TV. So everything we do (clean, serve dinner etc) get "good job, mummy!" sometimes with thumbs up lol
Other child just hates everything. I hate this, I hate that, this is disgusting, do I have to .... a phase that has been going for YEARS now.
